Silhouette an Authentique!

These two work so well together and I would know because not only do craft with Authentique all the time, but I am an avid Silhouette user.  I use it on almost every project I create!

Silhouette is offering a wonderful promotion on the new Silhouette Portrait   They also have special on the Cameo and the Designer Software!  Click HERE to see the special offer!

So this is what I created using my Designer Software!  I love the fact that I create my own unique cuts!

Love Life...New Charleston from GCD Studios!

How fabulous is this?  Today I want to share with you a layout I made using the Charleston Collection by Diane Kappa.  When I first saw this collection, my jaw dropped.  I love the soft color palette and designs that would work for both feminine and masculine layouts.

I cut the title using my Silhouette and paper from the Charleston collection.  I kept this layout pretty simple...the title acting as an embellishment.

I cut a few flowers out from the patterned paper as well as some paper strips.  I used foam adhesive to give the flowers, title and pictures dimension.  I love how I didn't have to add a lot to this layout to make it look good.  The patterned papers speak for themselves...simply a brilliant collection.  Hope you have all enjoyed my project and are inspired to get creating with GCD Studios!

Imaginisce Button Daddies

I love the versatility of Imaginisce products.  I especially love the I-Top and how many things you can create with this wonderful tool.

I decided to make a fabric headband.   I covered the Button Daddies in fabric and sewed them onto these fabric roses I made.  I then stitched the fabric flowers onto the headband.  Super easy and super cute!  A fun way to make a custom headband and isn't my model so adorable?

All this week the design team will be featuring projects made with Button Daddies, so make sure you are checking the Imaginisce Blog to see all the fun ideas!  Thanks for stopping by today.

A simple Mini Album with Authentique and your Silhouette

I think I can speak for a lot of people when I say...I am so READY for Spring.  Maybe we can will Spring to come a little quicker by getting crafty with Spring.  Today I want to share with you a cute and easy tag mini album using the new Seasons: Spring Collection

I am gonna show you how I made this album using my Silhouette.

Start off by opening up your Silhouette and selecting your image.  I used the cut "Tad Gift Set" that I purchased in the Silhouette Store.  I am sure you can get the same effect by using similar cuts.

This set comes all grouped together.  You most likely will want your tags and tag holder to be cut from  different patterned papers.  Click on the image, then right click.  Find ungroup and click on it.  This will allow you to separate the tag, box and circle.

Move all the images off the cutting mat except for the box.  Now you are ready to cut.  Authentique's patterned paper is a really good, thick quality, so you are going to want to have your cut settings on Speed 3, Thickness 33, Blade set at 5 and I click the Double Cut Setting.  This will ensure a good clean cut through the paper.

Here it is cut out.

Next fold all of the perforated lines.

Using double sided tape, adhere to the folds that will be going inside the box.

As you can see...the folds are inside the box so it has a clean look.

Now pull your tag over.  I cut out four separate tags because I wanted each tag to be cut from different patterned papers, but if you want them cut from all of the same paper, click on your tag image to highlight it, right click then pick copy, right click again and select paste.  Do this until you have the desired amount of tags you want for your album.  Once again, cut them out using the same settings above for Authentique paper.

Remove your tags from your page and bring over the circles.  To make more circles for your tags, copy and paste like above and then cut.

These are my tags.

Next is the funnest part...EMBELLISHING!  Those fabulous ribbons...May Arts!

Thanks for popping in today.  Have fun with your Silhouette and Authentique!  Let's all will Spring  Create something fun with Seasons: Spring and your Silhouette!

Love Him...New Pure Bliss from GCD Studios!

Ahhh....oh yes, this collection is Pure Bliss!  Put that one right in my stash, thank you!  Today I want to share with you a layout I made using the new Pure Bliss Collection by Heather Tozzi.  What I love about this collection is those embroidery hoops...aren't they fantastic.  Well, the whole collection is, it all fits.  Here is what I did. I love my hubby and this collection is perfect for the ones you love.  I used some craft colored cardstock on this layout.  I cut the hearts out of it and backed it with some of the patterned papers from this collection.

I also cut out tree limbs with leaves in both craft and white and decorated some of the leaves with the Pure Bliss patterned paper.  See...there are those cute embroidery hoops :)

Of course, there I added foam adhesive...because that is just what I do, oh...and lots of layering.  I can't wait to play with this collection some more.  I have lots of people I love who would look so good on this paper.  Until next time!
