Farm Frame Scene with Imaginisce's Heartland Farm!

Good morning Imaginisce fans!  Can I just tell you how excited I am to be working with the Heartland Farm Collection from Imaginisce!  This is such a fabulous collection and if it's not on your scrappy list, well I hope I can change your mind with today's project!

This collection has these adorable die-cut cardstock shapes and I thought they would be perfect to make a little farm scene with.  What better way than to display them in a little shadow box frame.  I used a Silhouette Design called 11.3 x 5.8 Shadow Box 3 Equal Openings.  You can find this in the Silhouette Online Store.  Here 's look!

I used a lot of foam dots to create the layers giving this scene a real life effect.  I love these die-cuts and this was a fun way to use them.  What will you create with the new Heartland Farm Collection? Thanks for stopping in and make sure you are stocking the Imaginisce Blog to see the design team's fun projects using this collection!

Imaginisce's New Heartland Farm Collection!

Imaginisce has really outdone themselves with their newest collection Heartland Farm. This collection has my mind spinning with ideas.  I love that is perfect for Spring, Summer, farm and everyday crafting.  I am really going to do some major crafty damage with this collection!

This picture was taken in May 2011 of my daughter and I.  Our Spring's in Wellsville are green and gorgeous.  Behind us is our Flowering Cherry Tree.  I wanted to bring that Spring feel to my layout with the die cut branches and tree.

So, Imaginisce has never done this type of embellishment before.  These denim pockets are so stinking cute and add a fun element to my layout.  Not only do they have the denim pockets but they also have so many cute colored die cuts, enamel dots, layered stickers and their famous stamps.

I cut these branches and flowers out with my Silhouette Cameo and made the little flowers with the Heartland Farm Collection.  The center of my flowers are the new Enamel Dots!

You are in for a real treat!  All week long you will have a chance to see all of the fun projects the design team has been creating with the Heartland Farm Collection on the Imaginisce Blog!  I hope you have enjoyed my project and it has inspired you to dig into this new collection!  Until next time...Happy Crafting!

Imaginisce Springtime Birdhouse!

Everything is greening up where I live.  I love seeing the signs of Spring and the warmer weather.  Springtime really inspires me to create. Maybe it is the fact that I'm not freezing all of the time, I'm not quite sure, but I seem to enjoy crafting more when I am warm.

Today I am sharing with you a cute little bird house I made with the Welcome Spring Collection and my Silhouette Cameo.

I simply love creating 3d projects and this cute birdhouse was screaming to use the Welcome Spring Collection from Imaginisce.  I wanted to really dress this cute house up, so I added a cute little bird, some branches, and a Spring title.  I also had cut out some of the cute flowers and tulips from this collection.

I am so pleased with how this turned out.  I thought about giving it away to someone, but I might have to be selfish and keep it on my shelf dedicated to my crafty projects.

So, does Spring inspire you to create wonderful crafts?  We would love to see them.  Share them with us on our Facebook Page and make sure you are checking out the Imaginisce Blog to see all of the wonderful Spring projects the design team has been creating!  Until next time!

Springtime with Imaginisce!

Happy April Imaginisce fans!  Today I want to share with you my Easter project. I don't know about you, but  I really get excited when the weather warms up.  I enjoy creating projects with bright colors and usually those projects end up being Spring and Summer projects.  For some odd reason, I feel more creative playing with Spring and Summer papers as well as photos. It might be the fact that I prefer warmer weather and it just inspires me...ya, we will go with that!

I love the I-Top and I think I've said this before that it is my favorite tool that Imaginisce puts out.  I created this layout using the I-Top as well as the I-Rock

As you can see, I REALLY used this tool, all over my page.  In combination with the I-Rock, I think it has an Easter feel to it.  I also used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the background design.

I love all the color and the I-Top and I-Rock help to create fun embellishments all over my layout.  What will you create using Imaginisce Tools.  There are so many options.  Thanks for stopping in and I hope you enjoy the warmer weather and Easter.  Maybe it will inspire you like it has me.  Make sure you are stopping by the Imaginisce Blog to see all of the Easter projects the design team has been creating!

Hello Summer...New Carta Bella and a Tutorial!

I have really been looking forward to creating Summer layouts.  For some reason, I feel more inspired by summer products.  Carta Bella has come out some fun new Summer products to craft with.  Today, I will be using the new Soak Up the Sun Collection and the Designer Embossing Folder Clouds that go along with it.  I have a fun and easy way to use the new embossing folders.

First off gather your supplies.  You will need:

Carta Bella Embossing Folder
Carta Bella Ultra White Felt Designer Cardstock
Pigment Ink
Manual Die Cut Machine

Cut the cardstock into four 6 x 6 pieces.

Using ink, dab the inside of the embossing folder.  Make sure you dab the side that has the image indented.  Dab everywhere except for on the clouds.  If you get a little on the clouds, it’s okay.

Insert one of the 6 x 6 pieces of cardstock inside of the embossing folder, making sure not to move it around.  Send it through the manual die cutting machine you use, following the directions for embossing.

Here is what it looks like.

You can use these inked and embossed clouds however you’d like.  I trimmed the edges of mine and used them on my layout.

Here are a few more close ups.  The cute title is from the Silhouette Store.  One of many designs Carta Bella has in their store.

Thanks for stopping in and I hope I have inspired you to get crafty with some of Carta Bella’s new products.  Make sure you check them all out.  You can find them here on the Carta Bella's Blog as well as their Silhouette designs in the Silhouette Online Store!
