JustNick...Flowers are My Favorite!

I just have to say that there have been so many wonderful projects created by the design team here at JustNick!  I have been so impressed and I am thrilled that I get to share with you mine!  So, if you want to get in on the JustNick crafty bandwagon...check out her amazing cut files!
My assignment this time around was flowers.  Now, I don't know about all of you, but flowers are a staple for me.  I could use them on almost every layout I create.  For this project, I used the Crazy Daisy Background and the Stems for Stephanie cut files.
As you can see here I used Silhouette's Black Sketch Pen to create my background.  Have a look at the adorable title...yep, another JustNick cut file, Wild & Free.
Here are a couple of pictures of the flower cut file I used.  I love this cut file because it comes with a variety of flowers and it's an awesome go to cut file for flowers.  I know I will be using this one often.
Thanks for stopping in and I hope you have enjoyed my project!  Make sure you check out the JustNick Online Store and download some fabulous cut files to play with and don't forget to check out the JustNick Blog to see what the design team has been creating!  Until next time!

Imaginisce...Life Is Good!

I know summer is coming to end end and in about a month, so I am embracing every last minute of it. So, I  decided to create another warm weather project using the Heartland Farm Collection.  This photo was taken on a cruise I took with my hubs.  Oh how I miss the Caribbean!

I love using my Silhouette Cameo.  I cut out the frame, sun, clouds and title using it.  Then I dressed it up with the fabulous Heartland Farm Collection, my I-Rock and I-Top!

I am pretty sure there are some more summer and warm weather projects I will be creating with this collection.  I am not am not done with summer yet! Thanks for stopping in and I hope you keep getting crafty with Imaginisce!  Make sure to check the Imaginisce Blog often to see what the design team has been up to!

More Summer with Imaginisce!

I have said it before...I love creating Summer projects and I am so in love with the Heartland Farm Collection!  Today I'm going share with you another fun summer project.

Those of you who know me, know that I love my Silhouette Cameo.  I have had so much fun using the Heartland Farm Collection and my Silhouette Cameo together, but did you know that Imaginisce ROCKS the tools as well.  Here is my project and then we will talk Imaginisce Tools. How fun is this beach set?

I thought this would be cute as a fun little gift for a cute little girl.  Notice in the seat of the chair that there are some cute I-Top Snap Booby Pins? Yep, I made those.

So, to make those, I used Imaginisce's I-Rock tool, some Snap Daddies and Snap Bobby Pins!  I love that I can make custom projects with this tool!

I also used Imaginisce's I-Magicut to cut the ribbon holding the bobby pins together.  This tool is absolutely fabulous!  I never have to deal with a frayed ribbon again!

Some pretty rocking tools right?  So, what are you waiting for?  Imaginisce Tools are a perfect for all of your crafting needs. Don't forget to get busy with the Heartland Farm Collection as well.  Thanks for stopping by and make sure you are always checking the Imaginisce Blog to see what the design team is up to!

Life's a Circus with Carta Bella's New Designer Dies!

Hello Carta Bella friends!  Today I am showing you a way to create a background for your layout.  On this layout, I used the new Designer Dies Animal Set 1 & 2 and the new Circus Party Collection.

First off, you will want to cut out all of your animals and start arranging them on your background piece of paper.  I used the 6x6 Paper Pad from the Circus Party Collection to cut out my animals so I wouldn’t have to cut into all of my 12x12 sheets of patterned paper.  If you like how I arranged mine, you can copy that.  Just scroll down to see the arrangement of my animals.

Once I cut all of my animals out and arranged them, it was time to adhere them.  I wanted my layout to pop, so I used foam adhesive on all the animals.  I love the dimension.

Now have fun adding pictures and embellishing!

Thanks for taking the time to stop by and I hope you enjoy creating with these fun new dies cuts as much as I have.  Until next time!

JustNick Wobbly Circles Cut File!

Hello JustNick fans!  So, by now I am sure some of you have had a chance to play with some of the JustNick files.  I am loving all of the designs and every time I see a new one...I just want to play!
This week we are focusing on cut files with circles.  When I first saw the Wobbly Circles cut file, I knew I wanted to use it!
I also decided I wanted to use the Summer Words cut file for my title.  To make this title pop, I cut the background out in red cardstock and then the center is Printable Gold Foil from Silhouette.  I love how it looks and stands out.
All of the fun circles in this cut file are perfect for pictures and embellishments...perfect for adding your own personal touches.
Thanks for stopping in and hope you enjoyed my project.  This was so fun to create.  Make sure you stop by the JustNick Store!  New cut files are added every week.  For inspiration...keep checking the JustNick Blog.  This new team is crazy talented and there are always fun ideas!  Until next time!

Creating Summer Projects with Imaginisce!

I am all about creating fun, bright layouts for summer.  Let me tell you about my summer layout!

I love making my projects pop and stand out.  I really love the look of a 3d project.  To create this layout, I used one of the JustNick Cut Files! This one is called the Flower Burst 2.  I love how this file makes my whole project dimensional and in combination with some patterned paper from the Heartland Farm just pops!

So, what would be more perfect than using the daisy stamp from the Heartland Farm Collection to go with the Flower Burst 2 file?  The combo works so well together.

I didn't want to just stamp the daisy stamp and call it good.  Do you see some other patterned paper under the Flower Burst 2 file.  Yep, that is more Heartland Farm patterned paper and I decided to match my stamp to it.  So, I stamped in black, outlined the inside of the leaves using an ink pen and colored in the leaves with a colored pencil.  Then I used and ink pen to fill in the flower center, but I also used my I-Rock and some gold Hot Rocks to put in the center as well.  Looks pretty good huh?

I didn't have to do a whole lot to this layout to make it look fabulous!  So, what kind of summer projects are you creating with Imaginisce products? We'd love to see them on our Facebook Page.  Thanks for stopping in today and make sure you are checking into the Imaginisce Blog to see the summer projects the design team is creating!

Embellish Your Projects with Carta Bella Designer Stamps and Dies!

I don’t know about you, but one of the things I enjoy the most about putting together a project is embellishing it and adding those special touches that make my project unique.  Today I'd like to show you how using Carta Bella’s Designer Dies and Stamps can embellish and add those finishing touches to your projects (links to all the supplies are at the end of the blog post in the supply list).

I put together this cute little drawers and I wanted to embellish the drawers themselves.  For the first drawer, I used a die set for the flower and leaves.  The center of the flower is a stamp and it made the perfect flower center.  Instead of simply stamping it, I heat embossed it to make it stand out more.

The center box was more of the same, die cuts and heat embossing.  I ink stamped the little saying tag on the butterfly.

This cute bicycle stamp was also heat embossed and the little hearts stamped.  To make everything stand out even more, I used foam adhesive.

I thought this drawer could be used several different ways; maybe just for looks, storing some of your favorite trinkets or give it as a gift with little gifts inside each drawer.

So, no matter what kind of project you are creating, these fun designer stamps and dies are perfect for embellishing your projects and what’s even better, they are smaller enough for layouts, mini albums or any altered projects.  Make sure you are stopping by the Carta Bella Paper Blog to see all of the fun projects made by the design team!

Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting with Carta Bella!
